The War Scene

SCENE 1 SEQ. 1
EXT. A LARGE EXPANSE OF LAND – DAY – ESTABLISHING
EXT. IN A FOREST – DAY
A group of soldiers are seen matching with their guns into a
hide out. As they move into the hide out in pairs, two of the soldiers behind
are shot at. They groan and fall to the ground.
COMMANDER
Shit! Everyone get a cover! (He points at two soldiers) you!
You! Get them. Now! Set yourself in
order. Lie down flat! (Everyone responds)
Suddenly, a grenade is thrown into their midst. They all
identify it and begin to run as fast as possible. The bomb explodes but all
escape it. Sporadic shootings begin. The COMMANDER then commands
Turn round! Everyone lie down in a straight order. Open
fire!
As they open fire, the enemies shoot tear gas into their
midst. Everywhere becomes cloudy. The soldiers all rise up and begin to run
again but the COMMANDER stops them.
Stop! Hey! (Beckoning on one of the soldiers with a bazooka)
you! Shoot twice at the enemy. Now! Go! Go!
Everyone trying to recover from the tear gas shot at them.
They crawl for safety. As the rocket launched from the bazooka arrives the camp
of the enemies, a sporadic explosion is seen from afar. Some of the soldiers of
the enemy are seen running in their direction. As a result of this, the
commander shouts.
Open fire! Now!
We see the enemies falling off, dying, they later retreat.
Suddenly, a serious exchange of gunshot fills the air.
SCENE 1 SEQ. 2
EXT. AT THE CAMP OF THE ENEMY – SAME TIME
A SNIPER is seen as he targets one of the soldiers who is
busy shooting. We see the soldiers crawling away for cover. Suddenly, the
sniper is able to target one of the soldiers.
SCENE 1 SEQ. 3
EXT. AT THE OTHER SIDE OF THE FOREST – SAME TIME
The soldier that is shot with the sniper rifle is seen as he
groans heavily. He shouts
SOLDIER 1: eeeh…. This is not good! I’ve been hit! (The
soldier beside him shows some concern)
SOLDIER 2: Hold on tight man! (He gets a piece of cloth to
tie the wounded side of the stomach as SOLDIER 1 groans)
SOLDIER 1: I am dying… I need to know the way to heaven. Do
you know the way to heaven?
SOLDIER 2: No… I don’t. But you can’t die.
SOLDIER 1: It’s urgent… I can’t make it. (Sporadic shooting
continues) I need to know the way to heaven.
SOLDIER 2: Hold on… let me ask. (He asks down the lane. The
next Soldier asks the next until the second to the last drew out his New
Testament bible and opened John 3:16 and passes it across the lane to the
wounded soldier, who reads it and responds)
SOLDIER 1: Lord Jesus, I believe in you Jesus… I accept you
as my Lord and Saviour… forgive me of my sins and grant me eternal life… in
Jesus’ name I pray. (He then gives up the ghost).
...WE NEED CHRIST TO LEAD US HOME TO REST WITH HIM
ACCEPT HIM TODAY.
